FIST OF THE FLEET
ASSOCIATION
This military organization
welcomes all current and past members of United States Navy
Squadrons in the lineage of VFA-25 (VT-17, VA-6B, VA-65,
and VA-25) known as "Fist of the Fleet." This is thought
to be the oldest continuous-duty Navy Attack Squadron (in service
since 1943) which over the years has flown TBM's, SB2Cs, AD
Skyraiders, A7 Corsair IIs, and F-18 Hornets.
The Fist of the Fleet
Association was incorporated in the State of California
in 2004 and received a 501 (c) (19) designation as a non-profit
military organization from the Internal Revenue Service.

MISSION
STATEMENT
FIST OF
THE FLEET ASSOCIATION,
INC.
Our mission
is:
-
to perpetuate the
history of Naval Aviation Squadrons VT-17, VA-6B, VA-65,
VA-25, and VFA-25,
-
to remember deceased
veterans and comfort their survivors,
-
to conduct charitable
and educational programs,
-
to foster and
participate in activities of patriotic nature,
-
to assist current active
squadron members, and
-
to provide assistance to
family members in time of
ermergency.
